Have the Audacity to do anything YOU want

Have you wondered why some people achieve their dreams while others seem stuck in jobs, relationships or circumstances that they don’t enjoy?

Most of the time, the hardest part of bridging the gap between where you are at today and where you want to be (your dreams), isn’t the work that has to be done. It’s about overcoming doubts, managing the feeling of being overwhelmed and not being scared.

Did you know that your brain is designed to see obstacles and to focus on what could go wrong, as well as the long list of reasons as to why what you want may be ‘out of reach’?

When you learn the keys to choose your mindset, you can go after your dream unapologetically.

We all have dreams and goals in life that we wish to accomplish.

So what’s yours?

Start with the commitment to yourself that you’re going to go after it no matter what.

Step 1

Clear the past as to not project it onto the future. I recommend you to dive into the learnings of past experiences and how you can use what you’ve learnt to move forward.

If you haven’t gone through it already, you may want to discover some suggestions on how to do your End of Year Review in Bye Bye 2020.

Step 2

Ask yourself how you can use what you’ve learnt from (disappointing and great) experiences to move forward?

Step 3

Tune in by taking a moment for yourself (close your eyes if it helps) and ask yourself:

  • who do I truly want to be?

  • what is it that I really want ? Be very specific - like if you were writing a movie script: what you see, hear, feel, smell etc..

  • why is it important for ME to achieve it (this goal, that dream)?

Step 4

Step 5

Train your mind to visualise the future as you desire it. It’s key in achieving what you want.

Take a few minutes to reflect, then answer this question honestly:

Would you rather take the first step towards your dream now, or wonder later ‘what would 2021 (and your life beyond) have been, if you had dared going after what you truly wanted?’
